electrical short

I have a 2006 super crew. I went away for the week and when I came back the battery was almost dead. I hear a clicking sound comming from behind the back seat drivers side. What is behind the seat that could have shorted?

Thanks'
Mark

I believe it's called the BSM (body security module). Your remote or keypad (if you have one) "command center".

To add to this, it is not shorting out, it is just flipping out because of the low battery. Replace the battery and all will be fine.

I went through 4 in three years on my 05, on my new 08 I had to have one replaced when it was 6 months old. . .these batteries don't seem to last. They don't give any warning either, they work fine one day and the next they are dead. I run my truck stock, no aftermarket electronics. On the 05 the last one went out when I was out of warranty so I bought an aftermarket battery. . .surprise, it lasted over a year (then my lease ended). The Ford ones only last me about 6 months.
