Warranty is up next month
i got extended warranty the last month b4 mine expired and then the next month my transmisson went out 100 dollar deductable. i paid like 1400 i think for 100k miles 6 years or maybe even less i cant remember but i bought it online throug a dealership full coverage 100 dollar deductable i highly reccomend it if ur gona keep ur truck to 100k ive had lots of warranty work done.
Did the same thing, My warranty went out this past August and I only had 22k miles my truck. I bought the extended from the stealership as well. Bumper to Bumper for another 4 years for like 900 + tax and fees. I was told that you can continue to keep buying them as long as own the vehicle, it would be a wise investment if you plan on keeping it.
i think your out of luck, and maybe i paid under a 1000 for mine i just cant remember it was 30k miles ago now

You may not be out of luck. When I bought mine new I purhased a 60,000 mi premium care ESP. At the time I wasn't sure I would keep it longer than that. When the truck values dropped through the basement I realized I would probably keep it longer so I contacted Ford and was told that I could still buy a used vehicle ESP, but had to wait till the original ESP expired. Seems odd to have to wait till the old one is expired but that is what I was told. I've yet to do anything yet as the truck just rolled past 60,000 recently.

i think im about to do that.
stupid question.. whats esp? extended service plan?
Wow, I would recommend an extended warranty man. I know they cost big bucks, but so do repairs you have to foot the bills for out of your pocket.
warranty is for girly man who can't turn a wrench!
seriously though, if you prefer not to do your repairs yourself, an extended warranty would be a wise investment to avoid a large repair expense. keep in mind, certain mods can/will affect warranty. for example, ball joints or cv shafts on a lifted truck probably would not be covered, as the lift accelerates wear on such items.
