All these numbers are while running 325/60/18 Terra Grapplers, Edge Evo on lvl2 with custom settings, Airaid jr intake, and custom 3" exhaust on my 04 with the 5.4L, 3.73 gears. I average 14.5-15 mpg with a 50/50 split city/hwy. The best mileage that I have ever gotten was 19.6, I have gotten that on 2 different trips both times it was all interstate driving with the cruise set at somwhere around 65-70 mph. The worst mileage that I have gotten while running empty was mid 10's all city driving and lots of idle time.

How are you getting 16.5? I have an 07 Supercab with a 5.4. I got the edge, S&B intake and Flowmaster exhaust and get lucky to get 14. How can i get 16?

Use the coast petal more often.

It does help if you live where there are a lot of stop signs in town. Red lights chew up your MPG by causing you to stop abruptly.

I'm guessing bluejay lives out in the country, you can tell by his use of the words highway and town.
