looking for brake pads

Well i need to change my front pads I did a little bit of searching but most of the threads i found were kind of old and didn't know if places like autozone still carried wagner thermoquiet brake pads or if carquest still has those blue brake pads? Does anyone know of a good place online to buy a good low dust brake pad? or if autozone or carquest still carries a good brake pad for around 60 bucks?

I'm a big fan of carquest blues, I think they may have been a little closer to 80 for the set though

Call AutoZone or any other parts house. I will use the Wagners ThermoQuiets as long as they are available. After that, I would go with the CarQuest Blues.

But does anyone have an idea of the part number or which brand they used for an 04 f150 stx 2wd with the 11th # of the vin being a N.

Just changed my front/rear pads a month ago to the Carquest blues. Except they aren't painted blue anymore, at least these weren't. Had the guy double check and sure enough it was the right pad. Also replaced front rotors and went with Carquest's premium rotor. So, changed 4 pads and replaced front rotors for $300. Pads were 60 something for a set of fronts.

*****, that sounds odd. I may be wrong, but I think they only make one premium semi-metallic pad, which happens to be the blue?? Did you ask for semi metallic blue?

I have the same deal going on .. I went to O Riley auto parts and they had some for 85.00 a set .. Cant remember the name it was the best they had .. and the guy said they would not get any brake dust on my rims... Yeah Right !!!! I think it was a name brand that started with the letter M.. I didnt buy them ... But About these Blue pads , my brother in law works fo carquest and I get his discount... I am going to call and ask.. Also on ine I noticed the rotos were a little bumpy feeling but not bad.. The rear rotors and pads are fine..

We have Centric Posi Quiets available through our site, they're an awesome pad, low dust and good stopping power.
