I had HIDs in a set of ebay projectors and the light was everywhere. It was just as bad - if not worse - than about every single set of HIDs that I've seen that were installed in stock or slightly aftermarket housings.
The bottom line - HID is meant to be in a housing engineered to properly project the light being made by the arc. Otherwise, it's generally unsafe, illegal in many places, and just looks lousy. Sure, it shines like crazy but, Tammy the soccer mom can't see anything when you're approaching her...
I'm still terribly disappointed that no one came out with a full housing replacement for the 04-08 model (ala: the 97-2001 Xenarc System from Sylvania).

i guess you could call this light everywhere but the blurry pic makes it look much worse then it is

btw i have the projector housings removed and for sale pm me

The reason these HID lamps don't work right is because they aren't focused properly. All headlight bulbs have a required LCL, light center length. The LCL puts the light output into the proper location for a reflector to work correctly. This assumes that all other positional aspects of the HID lamp are correct. And I'm guess they aren't.
If you knew what the LCL is for a H13 low beam and you could determine where this point is on each of the HID lamps you have. You would then have the info needed to figure out which way you needed to move the arc tube. Trouble is, this isn't an easy task when you're working with brand new, never assembled lamp components.
I'd just run a set of OE style halogen lamps that offer a better then stock output, like the Silverstars.

Yep. I've been seriously considering pulling my HID lights out. Even with the Hella black housings the light projection isn't all that unless I'm using the high beams. Then I can see further but blinds everyone for a 1/2 mile away. Think I'll go rummage for my silverstars and give them a alcohol wipe down and put them back in.
Yeah i see. thats what i m talking about if i was not that clear in first post..
I might get HID for Fogs only and I will getting Hella headlight i ll test it with HIDs, if its same or not much change ( i have read that Hella will reduce glare on sides w/ Hella) then i ll remove HIDs and sell it, get me new silverstars....i ll playing with it for a while to see how i like it.
I dont drive that much at nights.
