Bakflip G2 with Factory bed rails

I am looking to order the Bakflip G2 cover for my 08 F150 but I have the factory bed rail system. Has anyone used the G2 with the bed rail system? Wheres the best place to order it from? So far the cheapest iv found is on Ebay for $599. Thanks!

Not too sure what a "factory bed rail system" in an 08 entails, but on bakflips site they show it working with the chevy version of a bed cargo management system. I looked at the bakflip but went with a soft roll up instead. Cheaper, easier to remove, rolls up instead of blocking rear window when you need the bed quick and is pretty water tight. bakflips are still pretty cool though..

what brand did you go with and how much does it stick up past the bed rails? do you have to remove the support bars when you roll it up? my dad has a cheaper extang model that requires removing the supports when you need access to the bed.

Im sporting the extang RT tonneau.

From the side its hardly noticeable, not flush like the G2 though. Since i took these pics ive painted the bed rails w/ krylon fusion and it blends the cover right in seamlessly!! they are faded like crap in these pics.. Ive never removed the support bars either. Pimp's truck is the reason i checked out the G2 when i was looking..

Hey FX4...does your cover leak up towards the front? I can't seem to get mine sealed and didn't know if it was me or the cover

I got my BakFlip G2 for $599 as well from an eBay storefront. Shipping was fast and installation was pretty easy...would've been easier if I had help loading onto the rails! I love this thing...great looking and secure. Not sure about the '08 rails you're talking about though.

This is the bed rail/cargo management system that came in my truck minus that box that hangs off the side. This is the problem im running into with ordering my bakflip G2

Call up Bak @ (818) 365-9000 and ask for Jesse, he's a buddy of mine. He'll answer your question for sure. I am pretty sure you need the part number with a T at the end of it.

Wait till later today...they are in Cali so it's early there yet.
