What do yall think?

First off, anybody have any experience with Texas Direct Auto? Found this truck looking through eBay. They have a lot of really nice looking rigs and this one caught my eye. What you guys think about it?

Body lift. Needs the flares painted. Other than that it looks fine.

it's an '05 with 64k miles. Got the go ahead from my wife but I am not sure about it. Not sure if I want to buy a truck that already has a lift on it, also is there anything specific about the 2004-up that I should ask about? Any small chronic problems or anything I should inquire about?

man those seats are stained to chit, and trust me i have the same color and material and you will never get them clean. With it already having a body lift, which i dont trust other people lift jobs i personally wouldnt give them anymore than 12 for it. but thats just me.

Good looking truck, I would probably consider it highly if I was in the market. Texas Auto has been around for a long long time, alot of ebay auctions. Never delt with them before ( Pennsylvania resident ) But I never heard hardly any negative feedback on them.

I thought the same thing on the flares, either black or red.

If the spark plugs ahve not been changed, it would be a good idea to do so, and you need to understand what you're getting into there. Just so there are no surprises.

Better yet, try having the dealer change them, so in the event if something was to go wrong its not your problem.

i wouldn't get a used truck with a body lift imo. but it aint bad looking except for the FX4 sticker on the side when its obviously an XLT.

it most likely is an FX4...it wasn't until the 06 models came out that the FX4 became a more Luxury oriented trim.

how much they want for it? and does the dash say FX4 or XLT?

It has the center console, and the 6 disc changer, dunno if XLT came with that option? But I can't tell on the dash, not a close enough pic to tell. I personally like the grill on this better than the FX4 grill. buy it now price is $14,480. right now its at $10,351 and the reserve's not met. I wasn't at all in the market but just really like the look of the truck and i like the wheels and it seems to be in great shape.

thats an xlt. fx4's have painted bumpers. i have been able to keep my grey seats clean. scotch guarded them and stuff comes right out if i clean it before it dries

-does it have the 4.6 or 5.4?
-yes xlt's came with 6 disc. my friend has it in his.
-thats an xlt gauge cluster

overall its a nice truck. i would ditch the fender flares, or PC the bumpers and two tone the rocker panels.

good idea.

Its got the 5.4.

Good information. Thanks for the heads up guys......I am going to talk to them a little more. If I can get them low enough to make it a no brainer I just might do it.
