So your price was 650 was for front and rear gears and front and rear master install kits?

Did you ever get the motive gears installed? Do they make more noise than stock?

I was quoted 1200 max for precision gears front and back installed. The olny reason I am getting them is because appearantly my stock 3.73s and 325/60/20's may have something to do with my tranny pump blowing, which caused everything else to go. They shop told me that 4.88's is what I would best need. Would that work okay?

How do the 4.88's effect the gas milage so far? This could be a big deciding factor.

Your engine works less to roll your tires. Good mileage around town, not so much on the highway if you drive 70+. I avg'd mine and i get 13.8-14.5 average mpg city/hw mix with 35's, 4.88s, 8 inch lift, and basic recalibration program.

OP-NIce call on 4.88's, you will enjoy lightin them up after breakin. I paid $250 for my rear axle, probably about 450 for my front. The front is a mess to take out.
