Lower Grille Thingy

I walked by a 04/05 F-150 today and saw something I've never seen before. It was a black FX4 with a lower grille. 2 little bars that matched the FX4 grille were down there.

What are these called? I've been searching and looking for them...and no luck.

So if ya could...Name, Where I can find, and will it fit my 06?

Thanks.

here are some pics of what I'm talking about. thanks to Zoltan and some mystery truck owner. hope you guys don't mind me using pics of your trucks

yea thats on 04-05's only. There is a company that makes an insert for the center that some people bought to fill in the void.

its oem, what you have pictured at least, and i doubt it would fit an 06-08

Lower Grille Accent

Bought mine from Moss Motors. It installs with clips (PIA!) but looks pretty darn OEM. I know I need pics but the site explains it all!

I bought that same part and had it painted to match my KR grille. It looks like it came that way from the factory and you don't have that gaping hole in the front.

The 06 opening is smaller than the 04/05. I had all 3 of them. I put black billet inserts in the 06, looked great. Moss only had the honey comb insert for the 04/05.

for some reason I've never noticed those things before. the 1 I saw in person looked awesome.

I'm not a fan of the aftermarket version...guess I'll be staying the way I am

some of the 04/05's are actually missing them too for some reason. My friend at work has an 04 XLT and his are missing?
