i dont think rize ever made a 10" for our trucks. i forgot someone else has a 8" rize with a spacer i think on top and gave him the 10" of lift. not sure how fx4life's is set up tho.

Really sucks doing it after a weekend of mudding, with a ton of new scratches.... ya, feels like I am ALWAYS cleaning.

Anyways, sweet buy. I was looking into these for a while, but have to agree with mSall on this one. Really no point. Aside from long travel suspension (and looking sweet). UCA are not stressed by weight like you might think. Larger tires really don't have that much effect on them. If you were running a spacer set-up, then I would understand, but your running a rize 8" lift kit, right ? Do you have coilovers cranked up or anything ? Are you cv's at a crazy bad angle ??

Also, whatcha gunna do when the uni-***** wear out ? Any guarentee on em ?

Ive got the bilstein 5100's up two inches in the front, the kings will be cranked two inches as well. CV's are not too bad at all, same as you would get with a 6" plus a spacer. Not sure on the guarantee/warranty on the uniballs, i know replacement parts are like 50 bucks, so no big deal really. My truck see's mostly pavement so hopefully they last a good long while. there is just not much worth while offroading around here...

that right there, is reason enough. Some reason I thought you were running just the lift.

awesome they offer rebuilds for the uniball. i didn't know that. Might be a PITA to do, but at least your not SOL (something I thought about when I was looking, thats why I asked).

I think they will last ya plenty long, longer then a normal ball joint thats for sure, plus they just look awesome !! lookin forward to seein em all installed and lookin pretty.

Here they are guys, Powdercoated to match the Rize. I plan on putting them on tommorow after class...

The uniballs/teflon seemed to withstand the baking alright, i was kind of worried it could have an adverse effect.

I thought this was cool about the bushings. Camburg put alot of detail into every part in this kit.

Well it started with TC's kinda snobby customer service with my first call, after that they where alright. Camburg had amazing customer service from day 1, of course the owner answered the phone and my emails. They also made sure my questions where answered all the way through. Really i dont know of any major differences other than i heard TC's used to limit travel, not sure if they still do or not. Price was a major factor as well, with TC's between 700-999, the camburgs where 620 direct from camburg. In my searches of the web (all kinds of truck forums) camburgs where usually the choice of most. I did a fair amount of research into both though. I also found that camburg offers replacement parts and rebuild kits.. which i had a hard time finding for TC's, im sure they are out there though.

I guess since the TC warehouse burned down their prices went up. Last time I was really looking into it, they were pretty comparable. I like the fact that camburg would offer replacement parts. That would be a big selling point with me when I decide on which UCA to go with. Cant wait to see pics of the final install.
