Thinking about making my own grille...opinions

I have been thinking about making my own grille out of my fx4 grille. I was thinking of deleting the 2 cross bars so it would sorta have a look similar to the new f250's with only 2 pillar supports. What do you guys think? Ill try to do a quick photochop of it to get over the basic idea. Thanks

looks like a ranger grille, or a failed lariat/xlt honeycomb grille. In my opinion scrap that and do something with all the different aftermarket stuff out there. There was one thread about getting a roush/FX2 grille and deleting everyother bar, the photoshops looked pretty good.

Eh to tell the truth I don't really like it all that much, but it would be unique. It all depends on how well you could get the fit and finish.

I like the idea and have considered the exact same project. Search the web for 'RK Sport F150'. They have a white truck demonstrating their parts and it has a grille missing the cross bars.

i think if you would paint it to match and put black mesh behind it, it would look really good
