picked up some tires!

soo, I got a sweet deal on 3-33/12.50/17 Mickey Thompson Baja Claws, tread has just about if not right at 3/4 left on em, but I got em for $100 Bucks for all 3 and I got 2 ordered so I could have a spare.....All I can say is im excited! Not to much bigger maybe like half inch taller and in wideer than the tires I got now. Cant wait to get the other 2 and get em mounted and put on!

heres a pic of 2 of em

Gonna mount em on stock wheels till I get enough money for some black/chrome rims

Sweet deal man. You will have to beat on the new ones to match the others.

Sooo, heres a picture of the tread, about 1/2 3/4 I guess.......my question is, tryin to get these mounted cause the tires no my truck r super low on tread, and I was wondering if I went and bought 1 new baja claw tire with new tread, would it make a big difference with the others on that are worn down more until I get the money to get others? I mean they still have good amount of tread on them and wanna get them mounted. heres pics of the 3 I got now, all have about the same amount of tread.

Dang, those don't look too beat up at all. I don't think it would be that much of a difference. Mount them and measure them is the only sure fire way to see what the difference is.

1. I suggest you buy the 2 replacement tires and stick 1 of the older tires as the spare...and keep the new ones in the rear

2. I don't think the tires you bought will fit your truck as is. a 12.5" wide tire will fit our trucks on OEM rims...but...you have a 2wd that sits lower and the Baja Claws have a very aggressive side tread.

You most likely will have issues with the tires rubbing the upper control arm

keep us posted though...and good luck

Ive got an AS 2.5 leveling kit, from what ive been told they should fit fine on the stock rims I got now, if it rubs at full lock then it rubs, body lift coming in the future.
