Question How to program my key /// with a twist...

He guys so my fiance has a 04 mitsubishi eclipse Saturday I'm putting a remote starter in it...

So one of the two keys we have is going up in the dash for that to work..
Thanks to the dam transponders...

The dealer wants 55 for the key it self then with labor to program it...
180 bucks PLUS tax.... Bastards....

Is there anyway I can program the third key myself???

to who ever helps me out....
I know it's not a FORD but I really don't want to drop 180

Well the way to program Ford keys is in the owners manual. Have you checked that on the Mitsi?

Maybe try another dealer? My parts guy gave me a key they had cut and screwed up, took it to the truck and programmed it. Id try asking for screw up keys since all you really need is the chip anyway. I cut off the key part of mine. it took them less than a minute or so to program mine and it did not look all that hard to do, maybe try the ford way..

I'm one of those bastards that'd charge you for the key and the labor to program it at the dealership. I know how to program keys for an Eclipse, but since I'm a bastard for trying to make a living, good luck figuring it out.

maybe the OP should have asked a little nicer without insulting those that work on vehicles for a living.
