What to look for?

Im starting to look into getting a 04+ f150 and trading off my 01. I found a 05 supercrew fx4, 5.4, cloth interior and the 18'' wheels for 18k. Its got 35k miles on it too. What all should i look for when i go up there. I havent really looked at the new style trucks up close much, but i'm getting tired of my truck so i think its time to move on. Thanks alot

With all the cash Ford is offering now, ensure you stop in and price out a trade for a new 08. That 01 is worth an extra 3,000 cash on a new one. You can get a new 08 MSRP of 30k for that same 18k with only 35 miles on it and a warranty.

I bought a new '08 XL for $9k w/ TTL after trading in my '05 XL and the $7k rebates from Ford and Ford Credit.

Sticker was $20k, got $7k in rebates, $8K for the truck and rolled in TT&L. Out the door for $9k.

Now is definitely the time to look.

yeah we are going friday to go look what they have. gotta take our jeep compass in there for an oil change anyway(ford/jeep dealer) their website says they have a black supercrew 4x4 sitting there, which is what i want, but im not to sure what all i can afford right now. guess it doesnt hurt to test drive and see what i like/dislike. If my 01 was payed off totally it would be gone, but its hard to find a dealer that wants a truck with custom paint
