I believe a FEW 2008s built in 2007 also got the heads but not many. My car was one of thew few. I've only seen one other person have a 2008 vehicle built in 2007 that has the updated heads.
I was pretty sure that the design was change for the 08's but didn't have any proof to back it up so it's good to know it has been changed and your 3v doesn't have the potential probplem

I think they may be "Glueing" Studs to the spark plug pcs and pulling them out that way...

They've got all mine out now.

I just re-read my post and hope it didnt' come off as rude. It wasn't my intention. I just wanted to let everyone know that Ford isn't doing anything about it. They've got it fixed and it's a traditional design now.

The biggest problem for me is even though they know there is a problem with the spark plugs they have not asked the O.E. plug manufacturer to change to a one piece design. When I changed mine I followed the TSB to a T and still broke 5 of the eight. 3 I was able to get out with a tap and some all-thread and the back "firewall" 2, one on each side I had to get the dealer to remove. Luckily they got them out pretty easy but still ended up charging me $140.00. So it ended up totaling $300 for parts and labor and 2 days worth of downtime.
