Couple Mudd Pics - First time with KM2's

I finally got my truck off road a bit this morning before I started work. It has been raining for a couple of days now. It was pretty sloppy. A guy with a ranger and bfg all-terrains tried to go through it yesterday but got stuck. He had to get pulled out. I was impressed with the tires - they did a very good job of getting my truck dirty!!! And keeping me from getting stuck myself. I plan on going back out after work and will take more pics then too.

LOL - I hear ya. Behind work there is an open field/area that some people from work go to play around. I've only been back there once or so but it was a lot of fun! It was still dark though early this morning so I'm excited to get off of work in another 1 1/2 hours and go try it again!

Thanks for the compliments everyone else - I'll probably take thos flaps off when I get around to cleaning the mud off of it. I'll post some more pics in a few hours!!

it's a breather tube for the axle. it allows the air inside the axle to expand when heated, and fresh air back in when the axle cools

the hole is on the drivers side about 1 ft inboard of the leaf pack. directly ontop of the axle and slightly towards the backside. looks sorta like a spigot tip.

there is a little rubber hose that runs from that nipple to somewhere higher up near the fuel tank.

when this breather tube is disconnected, it's an open path for water/dirt and other crap to get directly into your axle. My breather tube keeps popping off. Thats why I asked about his...especially since he is in the mud/much and water has a better chance of getting inside

Seems like I can try what ever and I can never get my truck that dirty. I must need big tires like that.
