Wink Break in?

A girl at work locked her keys in her car (Pontiac) and asked me to open the door... Well..... We (I say we cause I didn't want to mess up the paint) got it open but it took a few tries with some wire and I told her in the begining that there was going to be some scratched paint.

I gots to figguring hmm.... how would one open my F-150 with manual locks?

Pull the door handle? That's all I came up with, I don't have power locks or sliding rear window. How would I get into my ride if I ever locked my keys in there? What say you??

Keep a spare in your wallet like I do.

That is why I have the aftermarket keypad. Works great.

it isn't too smart to post on a public forum how to break into a very common truck, lol.

It would prob take you a few throws unless it was the back glass, and it would be effective of making a huge mess to deal with.

Nope, it's not...but the bad guys already know how to do it and if they want in bad enough I don't care what your driving, they are getting in.

Keep a spare in your wallet like I do.
Can you get just a door key made up? The dealer told me "Don't loose the key!! It is $135.00 to replace it"

Spare key idea is better than the ductaping a spare key under the truck method. I heard about that awhile back, I just make damn sure I dont lock myself out.

walmart...under $10 for a brand new valet key. won't start her, but it will unlock the doors.

or you can buy a new uncut key off eBay (with transponder) for under $20 and program it yourself for free.

you know, I don't think I've ever used my key to unlock the door...I've always used the clicker or the keypad

I have a magnetic key-keeper and I keep it someplace hidden under the truck. In such a place where a theif would not want to look, and a place where I'd learn a lesson if I ever locked myself out... especially if it was a rainy or snowy day.
