A little Audio Help

I posted it over in the HU forum but I don't think it will get much traffic.

https://www.f150online.com/forums/he...ew-lariat.html

Thanks a bunch.

I have a few questions about an upcoming install for my truck.

1. I have the non Audiophile HU in my truck without a factory sub. I have purchased a factory sub and wish to install with the D3. What will I need to do so?

2. I have the factory Sirius radio and I am currently using it in my truck (gotta have my Howard Stern) and what additional parts will I need to make work with my D3? I noticed there is a sat controller under the factory HU that has the sat radio antenna and another harness plugged into it. Does that stay?

3. Whats the best fitting dash kit to install in my 07 Screw.

Jesse

With the sub would it be possible to convert the line outs on the sub to RCA? or are they already RCA? Im not familiar with the factory sub.. if they where already RCA i think you should be fine the D3 harness has plugs for subs.

With the sirius radio i beleive you will have to get the pioneer/sirius adapter. Sirius SC-C1 and Pioneer CD-SB10 Sirius Controller

I used the Metra 99-5807 Dash kit and it fits perfectly and looks good.

Check this link HERE, its a complete install/review with tons of pics
