The blocks are out. The rears are done. Thanks to all of you who provided the answers with gave me the confidence to tackle this project. I think I'll pay the local garage to put the front shocks in, and lower the springs.

The truck looks leveled. It measures about 37 1/4 inches in the front, and 37 1/2 inches in the back. Here is how it looks. What do you think?

This is what I took out:

Are you planing on changing the shocks? I don't think it is necessary, but some have mentioned it before.

Best recommendation yet. No shackles, better handling.

I put on a new set of Bilstein shocks. I spent a little extra to get the adjustable shocks which will go from 4x2 0 to 2" lift. That way if I go back to the stock 4x4 high I can use the same shocks.

I'm planning on keeping the blocks in case I ever sell the truck I can put them back in. I'll probably put the 4x4 shocks on ebay though.

What height does that kit end up at? I'm not going for a low rider, just stock 4x2.

I'm looking at $220 to have the front shocks put on at the local repair shop. This project is getting expensive.

I did the same thing, at least you didn't put the year in your name like I did.

Good point, I stand a chance of going green again. I think I'll get another 9 years out of this red.

Thanks, it was leveled.

The front shocks are on now. I'll measure and get new pics later.
