Install Audiophile SUB in another make vehicle

Can this be done. I'm selling the truck and thought about taking out the sub and putting it in my wife's car. I guess I will need a amp to drive the sub. Shed some light!

The amp is mounted on the box...

All you need is to LOC or head unit that pushes low levels.
Run a remote turn on wire and you are good to go....

Yes, It can be done.

Yep, just installed one behind the seats in my 2005 F-350 Crew Cab. It was easy in my case since I was installing a Factory Ford Navigation/Audiophile head unit that had the connector for the sub.

In addition to the wires mentioned, you also need a 12 volt power supply, Ford originally used a 25 amp fused power supply.

umm, that would be the truck's main battery. I'm sure from the factory the audiophile system is combined with the main wiring harness/circuits. But if you're hooking up the amp on your own, the best practice is to run the power wire directly to the battery and have an in-line fuse to protect it.
