Install Audiophile SUB in another make vehicle

Can this be done. I'm selling the truck and thought about taking out the sub and putting it in my wife's car. I guess I will need a amp to drive the sub. Shed some light!

The amp is mounted on the box...

All you need is to LOC or head unit that pushes low levels.
Run a remote turn on wire and you are good to go....

Yes, It can be done.

Yep, just installed one behind the seats in my 2005 F-350 Crew Cab. It was easy in my case since I was installing a Factory Ford Navigation/Audiophile head unit that had the connector for the sub.

In addition to the wires mentioned, you also need a 12 volt power supply, Ford originally used a 25 amp fused power supply.

What sort of power supply did you use?

umm, that would be the truck's main battery. I'm sure from the factory the audiophile system is combined with the main wiring harness/circuits. But if you're hooking up the amp on your own, the best practice is to run the power wire directly to the battery and have an in-line fuse to protect it.

LosBanos, it's 8 inches.
