Trailer Brake Controller

Just purchased an 05 Lariat Supercrew and I am having a problem finding a location to mount my trailer brake controller. Anyone have any ideas?

Mine is mounted on the plastic cover below the steering column.
When seated, in driver's seat, mine is directly forward of my right shin.
Hated to mount it on that cover panel, but, it was the best choice for me.

Ya same spot for me. I didn't use the bracket and screw it in though. Instead, I just velcroed it on. I need to find something that holds better though because it falls off in the heat.

Try the bottom portion of the dash just below the headlight switch. It's a nice flat surface that will still allow easy access to it if you need to make adjustments while driving. Of course I'm assuming you have a controller that doesn't need to be mounted somewhere flat and level.

Try 3M tape, that stuff could hold a battleship together.

Thanks guys. I found a metal bracket below the dash and mounted it there. It is completely out of the way and looks great.
