Latest TSB for driveline vibration
Its been awhile since I have been on here. But anyways, does anyone have a copy of the newest TSB for the driveline vibration? The last one I had was dated May 2007 (07-10-8)
With my warranty about to expire I was considering taking my truck in for the driveline vibration and was curious to see what kind of hack job the dealer might do to repair my truck, or wether I should just live with the slight vibration knowing the dealer didn’t do anymore damage that might cause more problems.
Thanks....

i read all the bs on here about that a while back and got all worked up over it wondering if it would ever be fixed. i went and had mine done and they did 2 things: they shimmed the driveshaft to make it a different angle- that is a common problem at least w/ the '04-05's. that procedure is supposed to cure the vibration at highway speeds. the second thing they did was replace something in the rear axle, i can't remember what it was but it was a simple procedure. i remember seeing that the tsb told them to use a heavier duty axle oil as well. that procedure is supposed to cure the vibration/shudder that you may feel when you begin accelerating from a complete stop. I'm not sure about all the year models involved, but you know it if you've got it. my truck is fixed for the most part, the only vibration i notice now is at 85+ mph when i let off the gas- this is the same vibration in the driveshaft as before, i am guessing the shim job was enough to fix it for more normal speeds. i almost never drive 85+ mph, and if i do, it is only for a few seconds, so i have no problems.
I've recently purchased a 2004 F150 SuperCrew and I have the vibration/shudder problem on taking off from a complete stop when you start to turn. When I take off straigth it doesn't shudder so much....I also have the FX4 package so I thought that might make a difference. Like I read in an earlier post...would it help to use a heavier oil? I must say that I don't have the vibration problem on the highway at higher speeds...
Does anybody else have the same problem and found a solution for it?

I had more problems with my 04, that Ford bought it back. Clutch packs, engine noise, etc...
The only problem I have with my 06 replacement is that there is a vibration around 45-55 MPH. But, I didnt have it with my 04.
Yes, I know it is a somewhat common problem, but I just want to know what the dealer will (can) screw up during the repair process.
