Manufacture Date of Vehicle

How do you tell what month your truck was made in? The VIN does not seem to give that info yup.

The sticker on the door jamb will tell you month/year.

If you're looking for the exact date your local dealer can help you. I ran into this problem when I was doing brakes on my last truck. Apparently there was a design change after 3/31/06 for the rear brakes and I had to know exactly when my truck was built. Called the dealer and gave them my VIN. They were able to help me out.
