08 Super Duty Front Seats --> 2005 F150??

Has anyone tried to install 08 Super Duty Leather Captains Chairs into a 2005+ F150 Super Crew? My seats are uncomfortable and i am thinking about swapping if (a) they fit and (b)if i can find a set....

there are tons of sets of seats on ebay. I would imagine they would bolt in with a little bit of work. your best bet will be keeping your brackets and bolting a new seat onto the bracket.

do you have the leather or cloth seats? if cloth, I suggest you try some of the leather ones first...since they bolt right in

I don't think he's just out for the leather... The Super Duty seats are MUCH more comfortable, they sit higher and have a much better angle. It's hard to explain but they are definitely better than the seats in our trucks.

I'm not pushing leather

I'm pushing the leather seat itself. they are more comfortable than the cloth seats.

in my case, I'm 6'3" and 270 lbs. The OEM buckets in my FX4 are wonderful. I can't imagine having a taller seat

I'd like to put the new super duty steering wheel into my F150 too. And the instrument cluster.

does the SD use the same passenger airbag load-sensor setup? if so, i wouldn't see why it couldn't be accomplished...

Call them, they have a few options for the 08 superduty front seats, they will be used but cheap.

i've been complaining about these seats since i first got my 04. the lack of both thigh bolster and side bolster. i don't find them uncomfortable, i just can't take corners fast without leaning, proping my leg against the door, one hand grabbing and armrest. its like sitting on a church phew. i plan on taking the foams out of, say an srt4 seat and put them in my frames and get them upholstered. the 03 seats had much more lateral support.
