Anyone done this... Or know if it will work??

I have an 06 with Round factory fog lights and my lens are starting to melt...
I think from my resent bulb upgrade...

Anyway rather then trying to get it fixed under warranty which would be wrong.
I was thinking about mounting some KC slims or PIAAs there...

What do you think......
