I know right. Oh well ill keep looking, I didnt think that my original prices were that good, since them I got quoted $145 with out the logo, but im not sure if there is a quality in glass difference that explains why ive been between $140-$480 range. My local tint guy did say he could do the eyebrow for 20 bucks so thats pretty good.

Kentucky requires insurance company's to replace broken/cracked windshields without a deductible, at least that is what my insurance man told me.....

You should call your insurence company direct and ask them there policey on your glass coverage. Your agent could be wrong.

Coverages are different from state to state. It just depends on your state's insurance laws. In Texas, insurance replacements are subject to your comprehensive coverage, and on windshield repairs the deductible is waived. This is the same no matter which insurance company you have in TX. NY, KY and some others have different laws.

If I were you, call your agent back and see how much it will be to change comprehensive deductible down to $200 or $250. Won't help with this windshield, but will be less for next time.

I just had my wife's windshiled replaced, glass company's wanted $500-$600 since it had the automatice rain sensor. My deductible is $200, glad I had it......$500 is way too much to be spending on windshields....
