It's been said, but i'll add to it.

It wont fit without grinding/cutting. Not worth it IMHO. I had the 06 Roush spoiler sent to me and didn't notice until the front was taken apart and I was trying to line it up. PIA.

Had to send it back and have a 04-05 sent out.

IDNC76- i put the tow hooks and 2006 Valence on my truck a year ago, but at first they orderd me a 2005 Valance it it didnt fit right with the 2006 bumper, there were large gaps around the tops where the valence met the bumper. so with my experiance i would think the 2007 valance would be too big for the 2005 bumper. but that just my 2 cents. good luck man!

b/c i want to hide the frame coming through tow hook openings

just wondering if anyone knows how much modification is required if any to

make it fit ?

i posted this in the body section but got no responses in 3 days,

and stealth thank you for answering in my original thread

I know someone on here has bought an FX2 valance (I think it was FATHERFORD, link), which is for an 06-up f150 bumper, and it fit an 04-05 f150 bumper. I bet an 06-up XLT valance without tow hook holes may work with some minor trimming, but I've never tried it.

Hey IDNC,
First off, your truck looks sick! Nice job on all the mods!
Anyway, I know this thread is a few months old, but I figured this was the best place to ask. What kind of valence did you end up fitting on when you had the chrome bumper? I've got the same problem you had and I'm wanting to cover up my frame sticking out from under the bumper. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

thank you sir,

well, i used a cutting well and a grinder , and just cut a small portion of the part that was sticking out, i cut it on a diagonal and made a lil triangle, on each side of the frame rail, and through the center. then use the grinder, to smooth it out.

i used a valence from a 2006 + 2WD , the 04-05 valences have more "recessed" areas where the openings would be , but the 06 + sits nice and flush.
the majority of the bolts line up , with the exeception of 2 , but it looks fine

Before :

After : What Body Lift ???

SWEET! Thanks! I'm moving soon, but hopefully I'll be able to tackle this when I get settled. I'll have to shoot you some pics when I'm done.
