let him win the race like he will, then tell him to do a tow off. Then out tow the POS.

Remove your cats ($50, but illegal everywhere iirc), good tuner with adjustments (either XCal2 or Edge) and TAKE OFF YOUR SERPENTINE BELT right before the race! (very easy, watch the temps and don't run any electricals)

Put 10,000 pound trailers behind both trucks.

Posting some F150 stuff in classifieds now. You could buy my AF1 3.5" intake and xcal2, postpone the race for a month or so, and load new tunes for your pcm on the xcal. At least you won't get spanked, as bad, that is..

Get yourself a tank of 93 octane, set your Edge for level III, set shift firmness at 4,4,3, and WOT at 1.9 You'll smoke him. I did. They have the horsies, but I'm not sure about their powerbands with the xmsn. They're really not super fast. I think a Dodge 1500 with the Hemi could take one too.

Say hello to real torque.
Say hello to read all the posts.

So I told my friend my F-150 Screw Lariat could smoke his new Tundra (381 hp with the 5.7).

Is there anything out there that would give me a chance? CAI, Exhaust, Programmer? Anything?

I'd prefer not to spend over $1200 but please GIVE ME SOME IDEAS!!!

No superchargers or NOS.

Thanks,
Chris

Ok, here is what you need to do….

As soon as you're lined up and get the green light, swerve into his lane and ram the hell out of the Tundra. He will be so shocked that you can get a few car lengths on him before he realizes it was just a smooth tactic. Voila, you’re a winner!
