x2 Big Slick. I had written off getting a D3 cause I still thought the prices were well about $600.

Overide Switch!

This past weekend was the 1st chance I got to put in a DVD movie into the newly installed Pioneer DVD Headunit. Pioneer AVH-P4000-DVD. I could only get the DVD sound but no picture!.... So today I just returned from the store where I purchased it. The installation tech installed a overide toggle switch under the dash, & forgot to tell the salesperson who sold me the unit! Long story short, now that the switch is turned on, I get to see the movies in a moving vehicle!..............

My installer just left the ground cable free and I did the rest. I installed the XM, Bluetooth, and backup camera on my own. It is VERY simple. With a few quick connects you splice into the yellow radio power wire and plug it into the unit. I just ran my XM antenna through the little tray in the center of the dash and it is just stuck there. No reception problems. The back-up camera was easy to install as well. Just plug it in and run it to the back. There is a small plug in the passenger side floor panel that you can run all your wires through. Make sure you run another wire to the reverse lights so it knows when to kick on.

The only thing I dont like about the headunit is that it only has 2 outputs. So my doors are on one channel, and my subs another. It sounds a 100 times better then it did with my stock headunit and I have aftermarket doors and subs and there both amped.

The whole movie watching thing on the road is cool, but kinda dangerous. However the ground switch is nice because to dial a number off the screen or to adjust the brightness for night driving you have to be stoppped it says.
