No more modding for me.....

Well, I found out today my wife is planning a 10 year anniversary wedding for us. She kinda got mad when I told her I was happy with our marriage certificate (Went to the JP 8 years ago) and asked her if I could get new wheels and tires instead of a tux. Apparently this was NOT on her top 10 list of preferred responses. So, it looks like I am getting married; again. She is the kind of woman who likes to look back at the pictures and reminisce. I wish I was. I like to look out the front window at my truck. Probably should'nt tell her that. LOL. Looks like my modding will be on a tight budget for awhile. Glad I already paid for my intake and exhaust. I am too old for this wedding stuff. LOL I told her when I married her it was my last marriage, guess I should have said wedding too and nipped it in the bud.

Well at least you have your mods paid off. So then once your done with this re-wedding you can get right back on where you left off and get them wheels. It just sucks waiting longer to do a mod you want to do. (know all to well about that)

I will have to run that one past her.

Well, I will still have to get my wheels. My truck looks goofy with the stoack wheels now that I have the autospring in and am about to add a 1" block to the rear.

You need to take these lemons and make lemonade

Should you not get to spend on your truck what she spends on the wedding?

Tried to go the JP route the first time. Instead she wanted a big wedding. Spent about 12k of our own hard earned money. Had to curb racing and truck modifications for over 1 year.

If momma aint happy, aint nobody happy.

Just think of the re-wedding thing as a Mod to your marriage!........You don't have to say "I Do" , this time!.........

LOL. You guys are funny. You all remind me of.....well.....ME!

We talked on the way home from work (we work together) and she said she knew I wanted to get my tires and wheels so I could go ahead with them. Now, being a woman, that could change but for now she bought into the 10 year being the "rubber anniversary". She actuallty thought that was pretty funny.

Of course, if an EDGE, nerf bars or a bull bar show up at the house, I guess they must have been a gift! LOL

Tell her you'll do it on one condition:

You get to have a bachelor party.
