i'm looking at getting an 05 screw xlt with the 5.4l 4x4, anything to look out for?

 

Look out for those gas stations!

 

Power window regulator. Just replaced one on my 05. Only have 22000 miles on it.

The '05 had a few quirks that generated TSB's.. Dash squeaks on the passenger side. Head liner rattle on the moon roof models. Power rear window rattle. Ash tray rattle. The 6CD head units liked to lock up and not eject CD's.

Haven't had any trouble with my 05, just turned 83,000 miles. Only been back to the shop for routine maintenance at 30 and 60 thousand miles. Just be warned it does love gas stations

My rear window motor died way too early in it's life. Had it replaced under warranty. My ash tray does like to rattle occasionally but that may have to do more with the fact that i keep random stuff in there than anything else.

Other than that, I've had no problems with my '05. Only 36,200 miles on it though!
