LS Install shop?

I will be getting a Detroit Tru Trac LS installed soon, and I was wondering what kind of shop I could take my truck to to get this done. Will someplace like Car-X or Meineke do this... and should I trust them to do it? I really don't have a place that I take my cars to for this kind of work.

Lucky you..That Detriot tru trac LS is really very good stuff!!!

I would suggest to try find car race shop or 4x4 shop around your home, look up yellow pages or online or maybe try google 4x4 shop in chicago ?

Aviod pepboy and big stores.

I think Ford shop can do it for you but its pricy!!

Maybe you need to re- think about re gear cuz it will save time and money you know do it at same time.

I suggest searching for a driveline shop in your area. Check some of the local big truck shops, many of these have a machine shop.
In any case, you want a reputable gear guy doing this job, because if the ring and pinion gears are not shimed/lined up correctly, during reassembly, you'll HEAR it.
