I'm aggreeing with not selling the truck at this time, but this comment really doesn't make sense. A year ago I paid $70 to fill the truck up once a week. NOw I'm paying $110 to fill it up. That's a $40 difference a week = $160 extra a month to fill up. It's Significantly different to fill it up a year ago than it is now...I think anyone can agree with that! Maybe for some, $160 a month is an easy thing to come by, but money's always tight on my end...

I bought my bike for $3300 and I think the $$$ I am saving on gas it will pay itself off in around a year or so.

What type of bike do you have? I got a Suzuki GS500F and that gets me about 50mpg, but I should have looked into one at 70mpg.

I feel your pain. I have only got better than 12.5 mpg with my truck a couple times and those were all hwy miles. I average 11 mph per tank. I've thought about seeing what I could get for the truck a few times now.

I know what your going through as I've been thinking of trading mine in for a Mustang GT for a little better gas mileage and still have a V8 and rear wheel drive. But so far I can't seem to go through with it as 2 years or so when I will have this truck paid off if I go back to a car it will be like 5 years before it would be paid off. I'll just have to drive the speed limit or slower and not do the jack rabbit starts from traffic lights with the current high gas prices. Since my truck is my only transpertion for now.

I agree. Gas dropped 6 cents here in the past two days.

wow, you must drive with your foot buried in the pedal. I've never gotten worse than 15/16 mpg highway. did you recal for the bigger tires?
