That is correct- I simply insert my key 1st and with 1 motion I disconnect the quick disconnect and pop the Ravelco "key" onto the female in the dash and I'm on my way. It's literally 1 motion. I took the center out of the phony coin holder (2wd) and mounted it in there. It's right by your hand when you insert the key. I also went to the hardware store and got a second section of waterproof flexable steel wiring conduit that just fits over the flexible conduit that they build it with so it has 2 layers of protection if they are dumb enough to try and cut it. (Not going to do them any good even if they do cut it!)
