Lock button and Horn blast

Does anyone know how to stop the horn from blowing when you hit the lock button?

I used the lock and unlock buttons on my factory fob for the drivers and passengers doors respectively. the problem is, every time i have to open the drivers door, i have to hit the button twice, pushing 170psi of train horn blast out the woman's side of the truck.

all factory. with the poppers and the door locks, one would've gotten in the way of the other. plus with steel plates in place of door handles, theres no lock cylinder to push in.

Train horns are cool...People will never pull out in front of you, or anyone ever again once they hear them.

Funny thing you mention this cause i have the same problem but i have a CA670 and every time i lock/unlock the stock horn beeps and it gets old real fast when i pull up to let someone in and hit the unlock button from the inside of the truck and the horn honks? I've talked to travis at kcauto and we cant figure it out and he sent me a new brain and still does it so it must be in the wiring somewhere.

I thought the horn only goes off when you hit the lock button twice on the factory fob, not the unlock. I always hit the unlock a few times just out of habit but never get any horn, only on the second tap of the lock button. Is yours somehow different or reversed?

no, i have to hit it twice to get the popper to completely release the door. they have a safety on them, so if i hit the button by accident, it doesn't allow the door tom fly open. only after i hit it the second time does it open, also blowing the horn.

My horn only blows when I lock twice. Not unlock. Are you using the lock signal to open the doors? I can press unlock all day in the day time and nothing happens. When its dark out, the lights come on.

When you lock twice with a door open or adjar, the horn blows twice.

If you cant disable it i would think the best bet is to see if the factory brain has a horn output lead, and trace that. Im sure it has to go out to a relay of some sort. Disconnect the ****.
You would disable the factory panic button though.. im sure they use the same line out.
