need opinion on emblem overlays

ok so i want to get your guys opinions on if you think blacked out badges would look good on my truck or not, i would remove the f150 emblems, then acetone them to get the black lettering off, then apply the decals, then paint them black and remove the decals so the f140 5.4 triton would then be chrome and clear over it all so it would then look similat to blackout-fx4's truck but im worried that i have to much chrome and if i take paint these it wont flow right

here is his truck to give you an idea of the blacked out emblem on a black truck





and here is my truck for those who havnt seen it

people are getting stickers from patriotdecals.com but mine would be the chrome that is on teh emblem and black paint where they are normally chrome

might as well do it ,wont hurt anything ,u still would have chrome on the badges to go with your rims and bumpers

thats what i was thinking because i have had a photoshop done of my truck with no emblems and didnt like it, but i like this idea of it black with chrome letters

it looks good on the truck.i just painted the badge and order chrome overlays from patriotdeals.com you will have to specify that you want chrome because they dont list it.

except that ill just paint over the decal then remove it to have the chrome show

I think the flat black would look a little goofy with your paint. If you got the emblems PTM then did the chrome overlays it would look great.

So are you going to go all the way with this mod? Or will it be put along side the others? just messin with ya

eitherway i guess.the picture doesnt do it justice my camera ist the greatest.its way better in person.also i agree with the ptm or at least gloss black paint.

haha ..........

o i would paint them ppg gloss black out of a gun no spray paint, this would also give me an excuse to paint some other parts
