Runnerboy I am glad no one got hurt it could have been a lot worse. You are probably right about the driving course helping you. Again I am glad you are ok you can always replace a truck.
I guess the same thing could be said about someone who tells someone they were not hurt... when in reality they _were_ hurt. Perhaps we just need to consider that the thread is read as a whole and that posts don't convey feelings.

As long as your OK that is all the matters. Insurance will cover the truck.

lessons or not sometimes in a tight spot or a moment of unexpectance, no matter how trained you are things go bad. Im glad you handled the incident the way you did.
We have all had those WOW things, and im glad you walked away from yours.
The truck doesnt seem bad, and luckily you are able to post here.

and I ride suzuki, im pretty sure the he said the rear went out sliding first....
your front pic is just in bad taste...

low res images in OWNED posts....

Very glad you're ok. I think he (you) got knocked out because you slammed into the A Pillar with your head...Side airbags will be out in the 2009's so they say. I've always wondered what would happen to me if I got t-boned from the left...Hopefully I never find out.

yeah, i believe that my head hit either the window or the pillar.
However as far as the tires go...yes, the tread was getting low....extremely low. Factory tires with only 18000 miles on them. Was actually going to go in later that week to try to get them replaced under warranty. I have done no suspension mods at all and have tried to kept them rotated. I had noticed how low the tread was the day before. I wasnt expecting it to start raining as hard as it was though. The tires are a contributing factor in the accident though.

Thanks for the concern....and it doesnt bother me that you are poking fun at the low tread....its ironic to me that i was about to get them replaced though.

worst thing though is i have had the truck for about 2 years now and had kept it in brand new condition. No scratches anywhere. And then in a matter of seconds, all my time and work seems like a bit of a waste. I dont think i will ever care as much as i did about it. It was my first car too.

Glad to hear you're OK, but you might want to check the tread depth on your tires. In the pictures you posted, it looks like you're well over half gone. That would make hyroplaning much easier to do.
