So I got my HID4U bi-xenon kit installed and running... but for some reason I think something is askew.

I'm messing with the Hi/Low wires to figure out which way is proper.

The first way the lights turn onto low, then high when I hit the control. But for some reason when I have them on low and go to turn them off... it switches back to high for a split second and then they turn off.

The second way the lights start in high, and switch to low when I hit the high beam control, but this way they turn off normal.

Any ideas???

Is it possible the bulbs are upside down or something? The HID bulb is in the housing with the small wire part on the bottom. Should it be on top instead?


I need help quick... I need my truck for work tomorrow (and although it is usuable... I'd rather have it set in stone.)

 

The first way is correct, mine do that too. Its because when the bulbs are off, they rest in the "high" position. Then when you turn them on/fire them up, the solenoid is working to hold them in the "low" position. Then when you flick the high beams, they are released and naturally in "high position". When you turn them off, they just simply go to rest in the high position.

Like I said earlier my bulb is installed with the little wire running on the bottom... anyone else have it on top?
