Niiice...

I have a quick one for you...usually not in my truck, but in my car. An American Car pulls up on me in my 90 Mazda RX7. Revs on me as usual (since I have a roll cage and some pillar gauges, they take me for a ricer)...

I look at them, laugh and rev back...what they get in return, American Muscle revving right back at them...yep, in my import. Im one of the rare breads that like them both I guess...

02 LS1 w/ T56 in my ride...pretty much stock (Intake, Headers, Exhaust, Clutch, Flywheel, Short Shift Kit and Dyno Tuned - and its CA Legal with Cats still on and everything).

not sure that "american muscle in my import" and "pretty much stock" can be used in the same paragraph together!

I knew what you meant.

my roommate has a 92, 300zxTwinTurbo, the other day an older guy in an older corvette pulled up beside us, rolled down his window and said "you wanna see a real car run?" naturally, he got a yes, anyway little did he know we were running 14 psi of boost and pusing approx 550hp at 6000rpm! the poor guy looked like he had just lost his best friend when he pulled up beside us at the next light!

If you can't beat em with the truck, I guess the next best thing is American Muscle.

There's no replacement for displacement.

Ill get more pics...I dont want to hijack the thread.

I can PM it to you or email them...shoot me a PM with your email address.

LOL - Stock technically cant be used in that same sentence/paragraph I guess. You know what I meant...to be honest, it aint that much power, but its torquey *** hell compared to the Rotary that was in there. I use it as my daily driver.

Dyno'd at 331hp / 355tq.

Pushing Low 12's on street tires (timed 1/4, though I road race more that I do drag)...thats enough for me to dust the majority of imports and domestics around (except for beastie Supras and some select Turbo cars). Overall, a perfect setup for everyday. Great on gas, has the import look I want with the American sound and power I need. Its fun rolling up to Stangs and Cameros and playing with them. They just dont know whats coming for them...I am smart when it comes to certain cars, Ill just give them a thumbs up and let them dust me. Corvettes seem to want to play all the time, but they are always Z06 ones...Ill pass on those, theyre a quick car STOCK.

probably... But more reciprocating mass and higher boost makes for more thought required when building.

Thats one of the reasons the RX-7's Rotary engine is so grand. Less reciprocating mass and lighter.

You can make 1000whp in turbo 4cyls which is often a lighter car to begin with.

So I stick with my original statement
