Talking AMP Research Steps on the way.

I just got done ordering some AMP Research steps for my rig. Those of you who have them, do you have any tips for the install? I can't wait to get them here.

Congrats! They'll look great with your truck.

Installation is a piece of cake. The instructions that come with the steps are very clear, but if you have any questions just shoot me a PM.

Cool, I looked at the direction online..they seem pretty clear except where to mount the control box under the hood. The pic sucks. Also, they don't show you what wires to splice into. Does the kit come with two sets of directions.

Do what? It doesn't change THAT much. These steps are hidden so you can't see them.

yep youll love them. Dont open the doors fast or they will get confused... Also install is easy. and the wires you will find are on the outside of the bundle under the drivers side rear sill plate. They go on a ton faster than nerf bars. As for ice and snow they do just fine, no problems at all with mine had um since january.

As for look changing, you just wont see the white right under the doors (the underfold of the cab) or the frame anymore. Most ppl never notice them till you get out then they stare in aw.

The directions come with a color code to tell you which wires to tie into and as said there in the rear drivers side door jam under the sill plate
