Question Last appearance mod...?

Ive been throwing around the idea of getting a hood for the truck as my final appearance mod since the outside, to me, is kinda done. and ive moved on into the interior and started on that. so what do yall think cowl hood or no? Also anyone with a reflexxion is it heavier since its made of steel? the guys at carolina classic trucks said it was a tad lighter...Idk? Thanks for the help and opinions..

My truck now...

I'd leave it the way it is. I'm not a fan of aftermarket hoods.

Honestly, I wouldn't do the hood. I have NEVER seen any hood that looks good on the F150s with the exception of the Saleen hood. However I don't think anyone has ever been able to get a hold of one of them unless they bought the Saleen truck. I'd leave it alone.

Also do you need a drop hitch? It's a brand new 8" drop Rapid Hitch. It's also the new design, it looks a lot better than the old design. Send me a PM.

gives the truck a more Superduty feel

I think changing your bumper to a 06+ would be a better mod. Then it would tie all the lights on your front end together. 4 lights are round, and 2 square

hum...I figured from previous ppls threads about hoods yall are pretty divided.

Thump-Thanks, but ive actually got a 10" drop rapid hitch. What is the saleen hood like? Ive got a feeling it might not fit the theme of the truck but just curious.

I don't think the change in Saleen hood justifies the price IMO. I can only assume it'd be REALLY expensive and it doesn't look THAT different.

I like the stock hood the best. Your truck is great, I can't think of anymore exterior appearance mods. Anything anything else may be pushing it too far. You have done a great job with the truck.
