dynomax makes great stuff, great for performance. That muffler is just like the magnaflow X muffler, and people have used it and like it a lot. i'd say go for it!

I had two Dynomax Bullets on my truck with a H-Pipe and it sounded awesome. Dynomax's stuff has a VERY deep, aggressive sound to it.

It all depends on where he is located, if he's up north, then he should avoid any muffler that is not stainless. If he's down south, then any material will sufice.

You should avoid any muffler that has a built in x-pipe. The entire piont of putting in an x-pipe into your exhaust is to balance the exhaust pulses and gain a few HP. To see that gain, the x-pipe needs to be as close to the exhuast manifods as possible, having the x-pipe inside the muffler, it ends up being too far away to do much good. If your going to spend the money on a true dual or DI/DO setup, spend the few extra bucks and get a seperate x-pipe, that way it can be placed upstream where it should be.

I agree with that... My truck's exhaust note is DEEP... I love it. Sounds better than a Flowmaster for sure.

so basically to use these muffler on true duals would be worthless, see what i wanted to do was run the x muffler an dump it out the side before the back tire.
