You should avoid any muffler that has a built in x-pipe. The entire piont of putting in an x-pipe into your exhaust is to balance the exhaust pulses and gain a few HP. To see that gain, the x-pipe needs to be as close to the exhuast manifods as possible, having the x-pipe inside the muffler, it ends up being too far away to do much good. If your going to spend the money on a true dual or DI/DO setup, spend the few extra bucks and get a seperate x-pipe, that way it can be placed upstream where it should be.
I agree with that... My truck's exhaust note is DEEP... I love it. Sounds better than a Flowmaster for sure.
