LMAO!! At the Tundra! Looks like they had to go slow. That Chevy was atleast moving fast. I thought the box was going to come off the Tundra. LOL

Can't wait to see how the new ones jump around then, as the frame is suppoed to be even stiffer.

I'm glad to see this topic - I thought I had a problem. My truck does the same thing - the back corners of the bed bounce when I'm going fairly slow (~20-30mph) and the road isn't perfectly smooth. I have an '06 SuperCrew w/ 6.5" bed - thought it was maybe worse since I had the longer wheelbase - but sounds like you 5.5 guys have it too.

My 2000 S/cab with 6.5 never caused me a second look. But man, this 2008 S/crew with the 5.5 was sure a surprise the first time I noticed it on some uneven pavement around town. And the drivers side does seem to bounce more than the passenger side, for whatever reason. The middle of the box doesn't move but it looks like the sides and corners are teetering on the centre line of the box. Very different, but apparently normal from the sounds of it. Oh well, at least it's an F150!

Wow, you must be a hoot on Halloween.

Mine moves around, but it hardly looks like something is unbolted.

Like previously stated, your 2000 and your 2008 are on different frames, with the 08 being more rigid, which equals more bed movement, not bounce.

Maybe some FYI: IF you have the Conticrap tires, dump them for some good tires. And/or might help to have them check the rims to make sure one or more isn't warped, etc. (had two on mine that way). Also check the emergency break s/u b/c they are known to stick. Way I fix mine is press the brake down slightly then put in reverse and back up. This will free up the brake if it's stuck(usually). My 05' use to jump around all over the place until I fixed these 3 things. I believe just getting a good set of tires makes a world of difference.

I noticed this on my 2007 XLT 4X4 Supercab with 6.5' bed when i was going 55 mph on a slightly bumpy road.I checked the T-50 bed bolts later on that day and all were tight.

Later Mark.

Mine was doing the same. There was a TSB and they put a 6x6 metal coil that was supposed to absorb the shock and have less bounce.

It works pretty well.

I have an 05 Screw though.
