Four Years Ago Today...
Four years ago today and 25,029 miles ago I got my F150! Since the birthday was coming up, I figured I would make some changes. I replaced all of the door speakers with Alpine speakers and replaced the A/D/S PQ10 that ran them with a new Alpine 4 channel amp. I already had a supercrew box under the back seat with a DVC 10" woofer, but decided to leave it and replace the amp that ran it with another new Alpine amp. Here is the stack of new pieces:

I had to get creative with the amps as I didn't want to mount them behind the rear seat. I took some 1/18th inch plate and made me a dual level amp rack. It has a pedestal mount that utilizes the stock jack bracket mounting location.

It sounds great and has more than enough bump for me. If I had it to do over again, I would probably go with the type R speakers in all the doors. For just a little more money its alot more speaker. I used dynamat in all doors and all Stinger wire/RCA's. I decided to upgrade the remote start from the Code Alarm CA-520a to a CA-611 alarm/RS combo. The last piece was a new low profile toolbox. Here is a pic of it at our campsite in Talladega this past weekend.

I have just a few more things I want to do to it, probably painting the mirrors will be the next project.
