I like the way the black reflects onto the chrome area on the fogs. I really want to see them on your truck.

how hard was it to get the lenses apart on the fogs? I was going to paint my own headlights, but read a couple "pain in the ***" stories, and just bought some ebay heads instead. Were the fog lights easier to take apart than the headlights?

The fogs were a piece of cake. The heads were definitely a pita! I had to put the heads back in the oven 3 or so different times!

ok, good to know. The other reason I didn't do the headlights was not being able to drive until they were completed. I can still drive to work the next morning if I don't get my fogs buttoned up in 1 night...

hey, why are you on the internet? get them installed and post pics!

I know, I know! I did a few silicone touch ups this morning, so I am letting it dry indoors, where it is a little warmer than outside.

Pics will be posted when the lights are reinstalled this afternoon!

-Bake at 250 for 10 minutes.
-Pry apart lens from housing.
-Mask off area you don't want to paint.
-Sand areas you want to paint.
-Paint.
-Apply silicone.
-Reinstall lens.
-Clamp it down or apply weight to make sure they seal.

good stuff. that's exactly what I was hoping for. It's darker, but not completely blacked out so when the lights are on you see more than just the bulb, and during the day it's got a nice dark look.

I probably won't get to it for a month or 2 cause I'm moving soon, but once I get settled...I'm on it.
