What backspacing and width on those rims? your tires are perfectly tucked/sticking out, i like that a lot.

What brand baja bars are they. Can you post a pic, he says his is custom. I love that bar on your truck, and how much did those lights set you back? Those are pricey little buggers, but again you have a nice front end on that truck, love it much more than mine!

Pre runner

I believe it was truckaddons I ordered this prerunner (daystar) bar from. When I got it one of the welds was not complete, and immediately started rusting. I contacted daystar after you said it was a manufacturer problem. Daystar said they stopped making them, but if I could find one they would pay the dealer to send me a new one...so once again I contacted Truckaddons and was told that they didn’t have anymore and would not be getting anymore, I was SOL. Apparently they have some now? It hurts to know what kind of customer support I got from them so I don’t give any positive feedback about them. As far as the product, it is a very flimsy addition; the whole bar shook with even the closing of the door! Also it only fits the 2004-2005. I asked the sales rep when ordering and they said oh yeah it will fit an 06, the website just has not been updated yet. Reason: the lower air vent is about an inch smaller than the 04-05. So to fix the problem I had to grind down the frame and then welded in some 2 inch pipe in the 2" holes drilled in the frame and welding an additional 1/8" plate along the outside of the frame to add some stability. Hope this helps before anyone spends $600.

I think they bought the left over ones when Daystar stopped making them. They didn't have one when I was looking for one, and I worked there for several years and still keep in contact with the fellas. Next time you need something try hookin up with the guy typing on the forums and he'll be sure to make sure you're taken care of. There is a bunch of new management and I've seen a lot of positive changes.

P.S. The lightbar I used to have on my truck was a Daystar piece as well, and it too was MADE to fit my 07. Nothing too bad...but I knew it wouldn't fit from the get go.
