Keep arizona beige or go all white/black?

Ok guys, I have been thinking a lot lately of painting my white/arizona beige two tone supercrew all white with black fender flares, just like an FX4. I would probably even add the sticker. I would also add some American Racing Mojave or Chamber Teflon's or the Pro Comps that PimpRohr has in a 17". I would also add a white/black FX4 grille. This would give me the white truck blacked out look that looks so wicked. I have the money saved up now for the paint and such so now I just need everyones opinion. Should I do it or just keep it the way it is? Pics are in my gallery for reference. Thanks guys!

I personally dislike 2 tone painted vehicles, so I would say do it. The only thing though about getting rid of the beige is your interior will not match the white/black exterior. That would bug me too much to do the outside and not the inside. In fact, I'd probably get the interior done first then worry about the exterior.

my truck is black with DSG trim at the bottom. i inquired at a few body shops on the price to paint the bottom black. i was quoted +- $800-1000 to paint it since the panels have to be re-cleared. that kind of money can be better spent elsewhere IMO.

Are those nittos 33s or 35s that used to be on ur truck and how many miles did u get on them. Ur truck looked sick for just a leveling kit with those I have almost the same truck except blue and was thinking about getting those tires when mine wear out.

I would just leave your truck like it is and get a chrome toolbox. I think its going to cost way too much to redo everything to get the look u want. I also wanted an fx4 when i got my truck but couldnt pass up the deal i got on the lariat.

They were 35's and thanks for the compliment. I actually sold them to a guy who has a blue 150 but it's an Fx4. Still looks really good though. My friend's uncle will be doing the painting so I can get a really really good deal on it.

The 2 tone white with beige is one of the best combos. I have the all tan truck. I kinda wished I got the maroon and tan. I might paint it one day.

There are only a few things wrong with your idea.

1. It will cost several thousand dollars to have it repainted a different color. Also, most good body shops won't do it.

2. It will decrease the value several thousand dollars.

3. Every chip you get will show a big beige spot.

I think you should either leave it or white out your truck. Have everything white including flares, door handles and mirrors. That looks much better. Dont do the black flares for the fx4 look. Personally i think thats a dumb idea, a fx4 is lower in "class" or whatever you want to call it than a lariat. Why go for a downgrade look? Make yours unique instead of copying something else and a downgrade copy at that.
Just my thought though...

I thought about painting my beige white as well after seeing the FX2's but I decided not to.

I think the truck turned out OK. Keep it two-toned.

My 01 4x SCrew is white w/ a silver bottom. I've thought many times about doing a monochromatic paint scheme on it and paint almost everything white, including the bumpers. Its a lot of work and can be costly if you arent doing a good portion of the labor yourself. AND, if its not done very well, it will decrease the value significantly.
I understand completely your desire to change the look of the truck, just be prepared for the outcome. If you can see yourself keeping the truck for another 3-5 yrs, just go for it. Good luck!

When it comes to resell, you cant really worry about it if you mod your truck alot anyways. A truck with a lift and other mods isnt going to pull in a good resell value at any dealership already. So painting it wont really matter. The onyl way to get a good resell value is by selling it to an individual who wants a truck like you have, which in that case the lift and other mods wouldnt bring down the price, it would just bring it up b/c the buyer is obviously looking for something like that already. Dont know if that makes sense but yea...
