Jwool Mod Party
I was holding it, John eyeballed center top to bottom and left to right, i blame him :o
it was working, but the torque management during shifts made it less noticable. on 04+ they pull ignition timing out right before the shift so it doesnt throw full power through the transmission, then shifts. so it was still falling on its face before the shift, then it would shift quickily. He said now with the canned Xcal3 tunes that its slamming the gears and hes chirping the tires. I have yet to ride in it with the tunes, but I would like to take a ride to make sure the shift pressures arent up too high. Because the Jmod allows for a higher volume to apply, so if the computer is also boosting shift volume, he may have too much pressure applying the clutches, then bad things start happening.

well i was the one drilling, he was working on taking his overload springs out
Do you understand that there is a table in the PCM that has an average shift time for each shift 1-2, 2-3, 3-4 shift. With this table the PCM will automatically adjust shift pressure to get desired time and smoothness during drive cycles.
Do you also understand that the transmission will learn a new average shift?
Eventually it'll return to the smooth shifts unless the appropriate tables are changed in the tuning.
Yea he is a good friend of Patman's and Myself. Shoot me a pm and I will point you in the right direction. We used spray paint on the grille.
Sorry I haven't answered you yet man. As far as just engine mods go I have an S&B cold air intake, Dual 16 e-fans custom made kit, Canned xcalIII till my tunes come in, j-mod, gatorback belt, and the cut out.. I think thats about it inless you want to consider the yellow top.
I'm about to shoot you a pm man we are going to PK this weekend!
