Completed this this past weekend and man was it easy and worth every penny, spent $12 including shipping on 2 actuators so I have a spare and used about 12 feet of wire and wire loom probably total of $15. Check out the pics and thanks for suggesting this. I was ready to drop $80 but was not sure how it would interact with the reverse camera in the handle.

Did mine this way.

Only problem I ran into is the coloring of the wires to tap into. Dave sites that his are pink with a black stripe, and pink with an orange stripe. These wires didn't work for mine.

I tested the wire harness for the passenger side front door lock switch, but that was fruitless. I took off my rear passenger door and check the wires to that actuator, and was able to tap into those colored wires (still under the passenger front door). I think they were pink w/ yellow stripe and pink w/ orange stripe.


btw, mine was FREE, thanks to Spaceman Spiff- except for the wire i bought to replace all of his that i used... Thanks bro!
